Mentor | Counselor | Preacher |Motivational Speaker
Tamika Fussell was born and raised in Miami, Florida to Joeann and the late Jerome Fussell. She is a graduate of Saint Thomas University with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Religion, a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Post-Masters in Guidance Counseling and a certificate in Loss and Healing. She is currently a Guidance Counselor at McFatter Technical High School where she provides life-coping skills and preparation to high school students.
Tamika would have never been able to achieve the many accomplishments without her love and devotion for God. It’s through her desire to be more like God that at an early age, she gave her life to Christ. On her journey in the faith, she heard the voice of God calling her to minister the gospel and help hurting and battered women pursue their God-given purpose.
In 2009, she was called to the ministry and in June of 2010, she delivered her first initial sermon. Tamika currently serves on the ministerial staff at New Jerusalem Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Elder Kenneth A. Duke as an evangelist. Additionally, she serves as the Lead Activities Director, the Ministerial Staff Secretary, and assists with outreach ministries. In June of 2016, she started her Pretty Girls t-shirt line, promoting messages that girls are beyond their beauty.
Tamika also known as ‘Evangelist Fussell’ is the visionary and founder of TLF Ministries, a ministry designed to promote empowerment and encouragement to all.
Its sole purpose is to push people into their divine destiny. Evangelist Fussell is passionate about helping others reach their full potential. It’s through her past hurts and experiences that she felt led to birth another ministry catered to women called, “Pretty Girls with a Purpose.” This movement provides self-esteem, self-love and self-worth for females of all ages. Evangelist Fussell is a woman after God’s own heart, who has a passion for God’s people and God’s Word.
She has found solace in this scripture and can testify of His goodness: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28.
It is her mission to leave an imprint of her work on the lives of those she encounter.
